Coin is genuine 900 purity (or 21ct gold according to Mexican Mint) 2 peso coin, mounted in a 9ct gold signet style ring. 375 - Gold purity mark for 9ct. R - Lower case and in a roundish surround, surmise that it is 1972. Worn mark that looks like the leopard head shape - London made.

8.55 grams of which 1.5g - 1.67g will be the 21ct - 22ct of the coin and the rest the 9ct ring. Loved the look of this ring and always wanted one, sadly it won't stay on my signet finger, as soon as it warms up it felt way too loose and I was always afraid of losing it.
