Uncirculated PURE GOLD coin from Mexico. These coins were first minted in 1921 to celebrate 100 years of Mexico's independence from Spain in 1821, thus in Mexico they are called centenarios. The coins were minted until 1947, and are made from 37.5 grams of "oro puro" (pure gold) as stated on the coin itself. On the side it says Independencia y Libertad (Independence and Liberty). This coin is from my father's collection, I will be listing other coins as well.
