AD 408-450 This is a genuine gold Solidus from the reign of Emperor Theodosius II, ruler of the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire. Obverse: Bust of Theodosius II with diadem and imperial robes. Reverse: Victory standing left, holding long cross. Condition: Cleaned, details visible, ungraded but in solid condition.
