1/20 Oz Panda 1983 24k Gold bullion Coin w 14k bezel 2.2 grams total pendant

  

A 24k gold Panda coin minted in 1983 is set in this nice 14k gold bezel. This People's Republic of China 5 Yuan, 1/20 oz. Coin features a standing panda and leaves with "5" below it. Around the panda are Chinese characters with " Au 1/20 oz, 99.9% (24k)".

The reverse side has a building with Chinese characters above it and the date, "1983" below. The bezel has a shiny finish and a gold rope chain border. It hangs from a bail that should fit chains up to 3mm in diameter.

Four tabs on the back help secure the coin. The back of the bail is marked, "4k" with the "1" missing, but tested as 14k as well.

999 gold or 24k gold and was not circulated. The vintage coin has minor age wear, as photographed. The bezel itself is in very nice condition. Please check out all photos and see below for detailed measurements. Pendant Length (including bail) : 22mm or 7/8 Inch.

Pendant Width : 17.4mm or 3/4 inch. Bail will fit chains up to: 3mm in diameter. Condition: very good vintage condition with expected minor age wear to pendant. Inv # 9894 - bin 1.
